Friends and Family- baby legs

Hello friends and family. I recently updated the prices on my website (www.ellabalu.com) due to some business deals that I have made with some boutiques that are willing to carry my stuff. I realize that the prices are a bit high, so I created a password so that friends and family could still recieve the usual 50% off. Just enter "f and f" in the coupon code box for friends and family and this will apply the discount.
With that in mind, I am putting in a baby legs order. If anyone wants some let me know. Check out babylegs.net to see all the available color choices. I must say, they're pretty cute. Ay Q's? Just let me know.

this is for you Jess!

I have nothing to say about this picture. I think it speaks for itself.

Never mind about the kittens....

we no longer have any due to the fact that our cat is a terrible mother! She let all 4 of her kittens die. my kids are so sad:-( When I told Ty he said "I want a dog!" I'm not really sure what happened. I don't know much about cats. I do know that sometimes they aren't super good with their first batch. But I this is her 3rd. She used to be the neighbors cat and they updated us on that. I do know that you can't touch them or move them. I checked in on them once a day and she never moved them. The first one looked like it had died at birth, then the next 2 almost looked like they had been laid on. The 4th she DID move. I'm not sure if she moved it becuase it was dead, of if it died so she moved it. I hate cats. Anyone want a mommy cat? Sad story- and a little gross. Sorry.

Free Kittens!

So last Christmas eve a cat showed up on our back door step. Josh and I were not that excited due to the fact that we both hate cats and I am a germ-a-phobe and don't let my children touch animals. However, Ty thought this cat had been sent here by santa and that it was his christmas present. He asked us if we could feed it some milk, so we did. You know how it goes....you feed it, it stays. So a couple of weeks passed and it was pretty skinny so we decided to start feeding it leftovers. Leftovers at our house are spaghetti o's and mashed potatos. The kitty learned to love it's delicious dinner. She has had various names thorough out her stay here at the judkins household: Flip, Chirstmas eve, Meow, Puss (Ya, don't laugh when your kids say that one), Mr. Pawsey Pants, etc. As the days passed we gave in and bought some cat food. She slowly began to gain weight. She started coming around more often so we made her a little house inside s storage tote and covered it with towels. We are so resourceful! We would laugh when it came around becuase she was getting so so fat! then one day, the fattness wasn't so funny anymore. She came up to eat some food and I thought to myself "Boy you sure do look pregnant!" I felt her belly and sure enough, little kittens were just a movin around in there. She had then yesterday, wich was a week later (which is hilarious becuase we just barely found out that she was pregnant, let alone that she was a girl!) Anywho, as you can tell from the title, we have some kittens that we will need to find a home for. As much as I hate cats, they are pretty cute. They are white and some are white with grey. The mommy kidnof looks like a siamese. So if anyone wants a pet in about 2-3 months, please post below and we will be ever so grateful!

Audrey Caroline, and my personal story.

Here it is, about 7 min 'til 1:00 am. Jumped online around 9:00 to check up on friends and read some e-mails, and yes, I am still here. Many of my close friends know that Josh and I have been trying to add a baby to our family for over a year now, to no avail. Fertility attempts and months have passed with no luck. We had the decision to begin more invasive procedures, but after thinking about it long and hard I decided that I just wasn't ready (not that I wasn't ready for the baby, but that I wasn't ready for the procedures). I have thought about it a lot. A part of me wants to do it. I can smell my new baby. But another part of me is, or was (I am now so embarrassed to say it) Mad! I don't really know why. I have two beautiful babies that are my life, literally. I live for them. Why am I being so selfish? How could I be mad at someone who has blessed me with so much. It is so ironic that I would come across this story today because at lunch I told josh that I was thinking about trying IUI this month. He was kindof taken by suprise, and honesty so was I. I had just taken another pregnancy test the night before and it is such a gut wrenching feeling to see that big fat negative line. I guess that is what got me motivated. But then I would think about it and I would just want to give up on it all. You know, like how kids pout when they don't get their way. "Fine, if I can't get pregnant on my own, I just won't have another baby." Then tounight, I happened to run across a good friend's blog (Bro Mick, to those of you who know). He had a link to the most mind changing story I have ever read. My sleeves are soaking wet from tears falling for 2 hours straight. I have never read a more motivating story in all my life, and it could not have come at a better time. It is the most beautiful story of a journey through pregnancy written by a young mom. The story always hits harder when you can relate. It has definately lifted my thoughts. After I am done posting this link I am going to hug my sleeping babies. We truly are so blessed. OH MY HEATHEN!

Ok, my child is seriously a heathen. I got her out of the bathtub and carried her onto the couch to sit while I ran upstairs to get her some cloths. I came back down and this is what I found. (Yes, she is naked.)

Easter Sunday

Cute little stinkers.

Putting the Mega Mask to good use

Creative, Son.

He kept asking me where to markers were. Next thing I know he comes in the room with a talking belly button. I have no idea how he thought of this.

Button Picture

Who knew that a little bottle of glue and a pile of buttons could be so entertaining?

Baby bed

Kamdynn found this changer that sits on top of the pack and play from when she was a baby. For some odd reason she thinks that it is a baby bed. So, she has me put it on the couch and buckle her in it while she watched TV. She says that she is going to sleep???. I guess I know that she won't be getting into anything.

Face Plant

Doesn't it look like he fell asleep and just fell flat on his face?

What?

I have found it to be an effective punishment for my children to sit on the toilet wearing a garbage bag. Ok, ok. It's really just a haircut.

Marker Fight.

They were coloring so quietly. I should have known something was wrong.

Magic Mud

Ty and KJ have been so bored the last couple of weeks. It's always rough when daddy goes back to work for the season. So I have been trying to think of things for them to do. I remembered making this growing up and knew that they would love it. It is called "magic Mud". It is a mixture of Cornstarch and water. We added coloring too because I know Ty would like it. Then you stir it all up and dig in! When the mud is moving it turns to a solid, but when you let it rest it turns into a liquid. It is actually pretty cool. And I know that this looks like a huge mess, and it is, but it is really easy to clean up becuase it is all water soluable.

Don't ask...

The new fad diet

Kamdynn started her diet today. She just eats 50% of everything. Hm, I'll have to try that.

Pajama Party

So I posted eariler about how Ty only wants to wear pajamas day and night. Well, now he has started insisting that we all do the same. He will say I am having a pajama party and you all are invited, but you have to put on your pajams. Now this pajama party is a real smash. It consists of putting on your pajamas, squishing on the couch and watching power rangers. Sometimes we even get a little crazy and pop some popcorn. The pics I have included are pictures of Ty trying with all his might to get Kamdynn to put on her pajamas. She loved to "streak" as much as Ty loves pajamas. This pajama thing is starting to freak me out. I mean, I'm all about comfort, but COME ON!

I Lied.

OK, looser me got a little mixed up on my dates. I actually started my business when I was pregnant with Kamdynn in 2005, not when I was pregnant with Ty in 2002. Now you are all fully informed.

FYI- MaryKay

I am putting in a Mary Kay (makeup) order. For those of you who don't know, I get Mary Kay makeup at cost and give it at the same price so that I can get it half off for myself! Everything is 50% of list price. They do charge me tax on the retail amount, and who ever orders splits shipping. Shipping is always 8.75 for the whole order no matter what I order. It is never more than 2.08 for each person. If you want anything or know anyone who does, leave me a comment. Thanks!

EllaBalu

Dear Family and Friends,

A few year ago I found out I was having a baby girl. Being quite a girly-girl myself, I was excited to dress my baby girl and to use all the fun baby things that I had seen around in many high end boutiques. After much searching for the perfect accessories, I found that they just didn’t exist. So I began making baby accessories for my new little bundle of joy. It soon became one of my favorite hobbies and slowly grew into an at home business in 2005. Everywhere we went people would inquire about our unique hair accessories. Slowly my little at home business began to flourish. At the end of last year we officially became a registered business. I began selling my accessories to friends and local boutiques, as well as at home parties. After slowly growing, I decided that it was time to take the on-line plunge and develop my own website. On February 20, 2008 ellabalu.com launched and became a revenue to share my products with everyone. It also gave me the opportunity to carry not only products made by myself, but other retailers products that I LOVE and I hope that you will too. Feel free to take a look at the site. It is empty right now, but hopefully after we round up all these fun new products, we will be able to take care of that. Below is a list of products that we offer:
Handmade hair accessories
Squeaky Shoes

And products that are still to come...
Boutique bibs, blankets and burp-cloths
Darling little socks
Infant Layette
Moses Baskets
Crib Bedding, and much more!

PJ Every day

Here is Ty sporting his lovely Christmas Footie PJ's in the March. He lives for wearing Pj's day in and day out. The only time he wears clothes is when he goes to preschool. And, even then, sometimes he wears them under his clothes. At least I know that he is warm.

Kamdynn's best friend.

My sis-in-law and I were pregnant and the same time. We ended up having our girls 17 days apart. They are worst enemies and best friends. But most of the time, best friends. They love to dress up. Oh how they will regret letting me take these pictures when they get older. Rachel says she is "nose-white". Hum, special.

What's cookin'?

KJ and Ty help me cook everyday. I let them help chop, spread, sprinkle and roll...whatever they can do. They love it, and it keeps them busy while I am trying to make dinner. Needless to say, the clean up afterwards is quite a chore, but that's ok. Because that brings us back to the whole slave labor thing.

Cub Scout

OK, so the other day Ty was tying (no punn intended) knots and them having me un-do them just to see if I could do it. For some reason it reminded me of when my brothers were getting ready to go to scout camp and they had to learn to tie several different types of knots. So, I told him that he was going to be a very good scout one day. A few days later, Ty went in his room, put on his back-pak, loaded his tent into it, and water bottle, and told me "look mom! I'm a Scout!"

Guitar Hero.

The Judkins will be hosting the first annual Guitar Hero Competition. Friends and Family are invited to participate. (No Prior Guiter Hero Skills Necessary). If you are interested, please sign your name on the comment list and also, beginner, hard or expert. We will be making brackets and each couple can battle off, then its winner against winner for each category. Are you the Next American Guitar Hero Champion?

We firmly believe in Child Labor Laws...

Gettin Big!

So ever since Kamdynn was born her and Ty have had a "love-hate" realtionship. Mostly, Ty hates Kamdynn, and Kamdynn loves Ty. Occasionally they switch roles but for the most part, we have just accepted arguments as part of our every day life.

Happy Birthday KJ!

Karaoke Kamdynn

Here is Kamdynn getting down with her bad self on the VSmile. Sorry, I am retarted and I don't know how to flip it the right way. (Notice her randomly saying Dora throughout the song?)

Tag! I'm it.

After being tagged 3 times, I think I might really be it. here I go...

I've been Tagged!!! A: The rules of the game are posted at the beginning. B: Each player answers the questions about themselves. C: At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

10 years ago: I could not drive, I was a cheerleader for good ol BR, I would wake up at 5:00 am every morning to get ready for 3 hours and was still late for school, I lived for fun, being spontaneous and being with friends. Boy, was I lame or what.

5 things on my to-do list today: 1. Take Ty to preschool. 2. Clean toy room and supply the entire US with toys that I desperately need to get rid of. 3. Play with my kids and read them a story. 4. Make dinner 5. Have a nap.

Snacks I enjoy: 1. Homemade sugar cookies with lots and lots of frosting, gummy sour cherries, veggies and dip, Tortilla chips and Velveeta cheese

I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire: Sell my house and build my dream home, then furnish the whole thing with Pottery Barn everything. Start the business I have always wanted to start (by an old old house, remodel it to still look old and have a home boutique). I would pay for college for my kids, pay off any debt, and any debt my or Josh's family has, Get a boob job and maybe a few other procedures. Oh, ya. And pay tithing. I would consider saving some, but probably wouldn't.

3 of my bad habits: I make up excuses any time I do something wrong, I frequently find myself procrastinating and being late, I am addicted to shopping and spending money.

5 places I have lived: Tremonton, UT; Palo Alto, CA; Murray, UT; Logan, Ut; Fielding, UT

5 jobs that I have had : Alveys Chocolates (in the mall) E.Y.H.D. (home decor), Convergys, Nanny, Decorator.

5 Things people don't know about me: 1. I often use power tools. I sincerely believe that I Could build a house. 2. I have always, and still do, wanted to have twins. I remember in middle school I would go to the library and read about having twins and how to have twins. I remember reading that eating yams raises your chances of having twins, so for years I would choke the stupid things down even though I hated them more than anything. 3. Although I do not work I have many side jobs: I own a small business with a friend called Sassy Shec selling and making little girl accessories for hair, etc. sell old wooden windows, decorate homes, and make wedding videos. 4. I love love love love Candy. 5. Every last one of you would be appalled to find out how little I know about politics.

I am tagging Tawni, Brandi, Shauna, Jessica and Jamie.

We found this little girl on the side of the road. She appears to be homeless and has had little to no care. Does she belong to you?

Dinner for two.

Don't let the joyfulness of a new year be overshadowed by someone blowing boogers into your party blower.
